This guide will walk you through the process of creating a new service in BookingHub, detailing each available option.
To begin creating a service:
A new modal window titled “Add Service” will appear, divided into two main tabs: Main Options and Price.
Note: If you are using BookingHub in hotel, rental, or event mode, the name of the service add page will change depending on the mode. Additionally, the fields and options available may vary based on the specific mode.
Main Options Tab
The “Main Options” tab allows you to define the core details and scheduling parameters for your service.
Details

Name*: Enter the name of your service. This is a required field.
Description: Provide a detailed description of your service. This will be visible to your customers.
Upload Image: Click to upload an image for your service. The maximum file size is 1MB, and accepted formats are PNG, JPEG, and JPG.
Gallery: Click “Add Gallery” to add multiple images to a gallery for your service.
Color: Select a color that represents your service.
Foreground Color: Select a foreground color for your service.
Service Length
Duration: Set the typical duration of your service. You can choose from predefined time increments (e.g., 5m, 10m, 15m, etc.).
Time Slot Interval: This setting determines how time slots are generated for your service.
Same with duration: If selected, the time slots will be generated with the same length as the service duration.
Custom Interval: If you choose a custom interval, you can specify the interval in minutes for generating time slots. For example, if the service duration is 1 hour and the interval is 5 minutes, the system will generate slots like 8:00-9:00, 8:05-9:05, 8:10-9:10, etc.
Time Gap: Define any buffer time needed between appointments.
No Gap: No time is allocated between appointments.
Custom Gap: You can specify a custom time gap between appointments.
Minimum Booking Notice: Set the minimum amount of time in advance that a user must book the service.
Instant: Users can book immediately.
Custom Notice: Specify a minimum number of minutes, hours, or days in advance.
Service Options
Categories: Assign categories to your service. (Note: “No data available” indicates you need to create categories first.)
Location: Associate a location with your service. (Note: “No data available” indicates you need to define locations first.)
Features: Add features related to your service. (Note: “No data available” indicates you need to define features first.)
Extras: Include any additional extras that can be added to the service. (Note: “No data available” indicates you need to define extras first.)
Appointment Page: Select a specific page for redirections after an appointment is booked.
Badge: Enter text for a badge that can be used to highlight special offers or features for this service.
Price Tab
The “Price” tab allows you to set the pricing and tax details for your service.
Price: Enter the base price of your service.
Taxable: Toggle this switch ON if your service is subject to taxes.
Fees: Click the “+” button to add any additional fees associated with your service.
Once you have configured all the necessary details under both “Main Options” and “Price” tabs, click the Save button to create your new service.
